A Custom Silk Blouse for a Vintage-Inspired Look

Some pieces just fall into place — thoughtful, deliberate, and with a sense of ease. This custom blouse was one of those moments.

Kelly reached out with a clear vision: a vintage corset and softly structured A-line skirt, paired with a silk blouse that would honour both pieces while feeling refined and contemporary. Something effortless and made just for her. 

From NZ to Australia, we worked together step by step. Choosing a silk that moved with the body. Refining the neckline. Sculpting the sleeves to balance the corset. Small adjustments sent back and forth until the silhouette felt just right.

 

When her blouse arrived, she sent the sweetest message:

"My top has arrived and it is absolute perfection!!!! I love it so much ☺️🌷💓 I put the whole outfit on yesterday and didn’t want to take it off 😂 I can’t wait to show you photos on my wedding day. Thank you so much again."
